In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.
The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana together with multiple objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
