Homeowners reported giant hailstones measuring up to 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts confirmed that multiple regions across the state had been affected by significant hail.

State Emergency Services received over five hundred requests for assistance across the state, mostly for building damage but also for fallen timber and inundation.

The following day was forecast to be the most rainy day, with continued storm activity anticipated across multiple regions of both states.
